So, who’s Tom? Well, most people would say I’m the outgoing type (the embodiment of an extrovert), always up for a challenge, development-obsessed, and fiercely loyal.

At hinesight, we wake up every day with a clear sense of purpose, knowing that we are living our passion - helping people unlock their true potential and become the best versions of themselves. Whether it's guiding someone to breakthrough in their career, helping leaders find their voice, or creating a space for people to level up, Hinesight is the manifestation of our love for conscious development. Success is not just about business growth, it’s about the impact we make on individuals who trust us with their development journey.

I've worked in development for over a decade, and I've loved my journey. But, there was a time more recently when I lost my motivation to inspire development, a time when corporate environments felt stifling, rigid, and disconnected from real human growth. I found myself bogged down by systems that prioritised processes over people, and I couldn’t see how I could make a real difference. I was frustrated by the limits I felt, knowing there was so much untapped potential within individuals, but feeling constrained by organisational structures. There’s only so many times you can watch on as execs rip development budgets from teams, before you know something has to change. Then, in the toughest of times, I was made redundant. Only 12 months into a job I thought would give me everything I craved, the entire development function was dismantled. That’s when everything changed. 

I realised that, even through that struggle, I had the skills people and businesses needed to transform their lives. I had a deep passion for helping others break through their limitations and unlock their hidden capabilities. I could see people’s potential, often clearer than they could see it themselves, and I knew that was my gift. Over the last decade I developed an understanding of human behaviour. I understood true leadership inside out, in a way that could transform organisations from the inside out. The passion and desire to help people turn their development conscious - by making it part of their everyday psyche - was burning ferociously inside me. Whether it was coaching careers, identifying business performance blind spots, or shaping the next generation of leaders, I had the tools, and more importantly, the heart to help others thrive. 

This is where hinesight was born. hinesight isn’t just a business, it’s a movement towards conscious development. A place where individuals aren’t just trained to do their jobs and left to it, but inspired to become exceptional at what they do. To take control of their own development!
